Over the years, drones have evolved from being widely known as toys to becoming essential tools on project jobsites. But once the company acquires the technology, it’s a good idea to make sure the rest of its tech is up-to-date. Construction and development firm Skanska USA recently did just that in its new partnership with Measure, an aerial intelligence company.
According to Measure, it helped Skanska implement its drone program across the country to meet increased demand for enhanced construction site progress monitoring. But when Skanska initially assessed the expansion of its drone program, it saw the need for a more diversified mix of software and processes.
“Choosing one tool has significantly reduced confusion for new drone pilots and has increased the efficiency of flight operations.”
