There is always time to learn how to make better products for customers, and KB Home plans to do just that in its new, multiyear research project with the Well Living Lab. The organization, which was founded as a partnership between Delos and Mayo Clinic, focuses on advancing knowledge to transform indoor environments and improve the health and well-being of their residents.

The project, which will start in February 2021, aims to accelerate new discoveries by migrating findings from the Well Living Lab’s research to real-world assessments. According to KB Home, this will help improve public awareness of how home environments can affect physical health, mental stress and productivity, as well as advance discoveries that show how to improve personal comfort, resiliency and overall wellness.

“We’re proud to lead our industry in focusing on improved indoor air quality and other wellness features and honored to partner with the Well Living Lab on this multiyear research project directed at advancing the future of healthier homes.”
