Dove Mountain Homes builds affluent homes with the comforts and services of a hotel.
How would you like to live in a luxurious custom-made home but with all the comforts of a Ritz-Carlton hotel? That means room service will deliver your meal directly into your dining room. Looking for local activities to do today? Call the concierge. Plumbing issues? Call maintenance. If you can afford these luxuries, call Dove Mountain Homes.
The Tucson, Ariz.-based luxury builder has several properties under development in Dove Mountain, a 6,000-acre community in southern Arizona that offers resort-style living. Since its formation in 2009, Dove Mountain Homes has built 55 high-end, custom homes in Dove Mountain. The Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain community and the Canyon Pass community are both within close range of The Ritz-Carlton resort hotel, spa and golf club – which was built by the Dove Mountain Home’s parent company Cottonwood Properties.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences community comes with access to the hotel’s services. “Dove Mountain is unique within the Southwest,” President Carson Mehl says. “It is in a high desert setting with lush vegetation, gorgeous mountains, 81 holes of championship golf and many miles of hiking, biking and walking trails.”
Spectacular Views
The Ritz-Carlton community encompasses roughly 800 acres within Dove Mountain. Most of the Residences have views of the Jack Nicklaus Signature golf courses. The homes meld into the desert mountain setting and feature an architectural style authentic to the Arizona southwest. The Canyon Pass neighborhood, where the company started building custom homes in 2015, is situated in a 2,000-acre private canyon with stunning views of the Sonoran Desert panorama.
The custom homesites feature naturally sculpted rock formations, towering saguaros and hanging cliffs. The Canyon Pass’ private 2.5-mile hiking trail can be climbed up to an elevation of roughly 4,300 feet. “Tucson has amazing weather most of the year,” Mehl says. “So, each home is designed to incorporate both indoor and outdoor living.
There’s a lot of glass, expansive openings and usually a dramatic swimming pool.” Nearly 75 percent of the 2,000-acre Canyon Pass expanse will remain undisturbed assuring each resident full privacy whether the home is nestled against canyon walls or perched high up on the mountainside. Dove Mountain Homes has properties available in both its Ritz-Carlton Residences and Canyon Pass neighborhoods. “It is also in the planning stages for a new higher density project near the resort” Mehl says. “We are blessed to have amazing land holdings, so we will be building beautiful homes here for years to come”.
